Former Indianapolis Colts defensive end and outside linebacker Dwight Freeney has signed a two year deal with the San Diego Chargers.
Well it didn't take too long for the Chargers to grab Freeney. After losing Melvin Ingram for essentially the whole season, the Chargers needed to find a good capable replacement. Although disapointing last season, Dwight Freeney wasn't horrible with the Colts. He did pretty well as a pass rusher and improved as a run stopper. He did st...

**Back from a 5 day hiatius**
The Indianapolis Colts wrapped up their annual rookie minicamp over the weekend, and there were some interesting and surprising things that happened.
The first thing that stood out at the minicamp was that Josh Chapman, who didn't play a snap in his rookie season last year, was taking first team reps. It's good to see Chapman healthy, as he's a talented player when he's on the field. Had he been healthy around d...

The Indianapolis Colts have signed 5th round pick (defensive tackle) Montori Hughes.
Montori Hughes was picked in the 5th round after the Colts traded up to get him. Hughes is a risky prospect because he's had a lot of off the field issues, including being kicked off his football team and having to go to a D2 school. However, he's very talented and could be a solid player for the Colts in the future.
Hughes is expected to compete for a nose tackle job, but is no...

The Indianapolis Colts have reached an agreement with 3rd round pick Hugh Thornton and 7th round pick John Boyett.
The signings continue to the Colts signing two more players. They are now up to 4 players, and now have 3 left to sign.
Hugh Thornton was selected in the 3rd round and is expected to compete for the starting guard spot (and is a favorite to get it). He is a good versatile guard from Illinois. He can play anywhere on the O-line.
The Colts also ...

The Indianapolis Colts have traded center AQ Shipley to the Baltimore Ravens for a conditional 2014 draft pick.
AQ Shipley was the backup center for the Colts last year, and when called into action, did a pretty good job. Samson Satele struggled with injuries and inconsistent play last year, and Shipley was asked to play more than a typical backup usually does.
The Colts drafted center Khalid Holmes in the 4th round, and in a way, it made Shipley an expendable p...
