The Indianapolis Colts have reached a 5 year deal with punter Pat McAfee.
After playing under the franchise tag last season, the Colts have retained their young veteran punter. The fan favorite has turned into one of the better punters in the NFL, and had a great season in 2013.
The Colts signed McAfee to a 5 year, 14M dollar deal.

Jackson has finally made his choice, and he decided to come to the team that he thought were "serious contenders".

1st Overall Pick – Houston Texans
Teddy Bridgewater – Quarterback – Louisville
Bridgewater should be the first overall pick. The Texans are a quarterback away from making the playoffs, and Teddy Bridgewater is a good quarterback, to say the least. If they go quarterback, they need to go with Bridgewater.
2nd Overall Pick – St Louis Rams (from Washington Redskins)
Sammy Watkins – Wide Receiver – C...Read Full Post »

The Indianapolis Colts have been in the news the last few days after some rumors have been going around the league. One of the rumors is the Colts being interested in Broncos receiver Eric Decker, and Jonathan Martin potentially being traded to the Colts.
Eric Decker is one of the premier free agents in this year's class, and has been garnering a lot of attention. Decker has been a great receiver for the Broncos for the last few seasons now, and had nearly 1300 yards ...Read Full Post »

I always like to combine Day 3 and 4 because it's all the defensive prospects, and it's easier to break down. There were a lot of blazing performances, with Jadaveon Clowney's ridiculous 40 time leading the way. Here are my thoughts.
- Let's start with defensive end Jadaveon Clowney. Clowney told many he would tear up the 40 yard dash, and that's what he did. He killed it with a 4.53. He al...Read Full Post »

Day 2 of the NFL combine included a lot of great performances from the quarterbacks, running backs and receivers. Here are my thoughts on the day.
- Johnny Manziel had a very nice day athletically, and showcased good speed. However, I would have really liked to have seen him throw, and I think the scouts would as well. There are still a lot of questions surrounding his arm, and he could have silenced many people with a good performance.

Here are my thoughts and reactions to day 1 of the NFL combine featuring the offensive lineman, tight ends and special teamers.
- The Big 3 (Greg Robinson, Taylor Lewan and Jake Matthews) were the brightest stars in the offensive lineman group as they looked great in the 40 yard dash times and the positional drills. Taylor Lewan was especially great in the workout drills and was at the top of almost every drill. His 4.87 40 ya...Read Full Post »

The NFL Combine starts tomorrow (and ends on February 24th) with lots of big names and stars participating in the event; a lot of questions will be answered. Here's what you should watch for in the combine.
- Blake Bortles will be throwing at the NFL combine, and this will show everyone if he's for real or not. There have been a lot of hyped up quarterbacks in the past that would come to the combine, perform badly and then fall in the draft. For his draft stock...Read Full Post »
