2nd Round – 59th Overall Pick

Terrrence Brooks – Safety – Florida State

The Colts need a safety very badly. Even Coach Pagano said that they’ll look to the draft for a safety. Brooks is a great “center-field-type” safety and can make plays in the running game. He would compliment Laron Landry very well. Brooks would start at safety from Day 1, and could be very impactful. We’ve seen the impact that go...

Top Remaining Free Agents

There are still many talented players remaining on the free agency market. Who are those players?

1. Chris Johnson – Running Back

Johnson is still a very good running back with outstanding speed and big play ability. He’d be a great pickup for teams in need of a good, true #1 running back.

2. Alex Mack – Center

Mack is most likely going to stay with the Browns because of the tran...

Round 1

1st Overall Pick – Houston Texans

Teddy Bridgewater – Quarterback – Louisville

Bridgewater should be the first overall pick. The Texans are one good quarterback away from making the playoffs, and Teddy Bridgewater is a good quarterback, to say the least. If they go quarterback, they need to go with Bridgewater.

2nd Overall Pick – St Louis R...

Pagano: Colts Will Draft a Safety

Coach Chuck Pagano announced earlier today that the Indianapolis Colts will look to the NFL Draft to find a safety.

The Colts have a big hole at safety. As mentioned in an article posted earlier this week, the Colts have yet to fill the big hole left by former Colt Antoine Bethea. Bethea left for the 49ers on Day 1 of Free Agency, and the Colts ...

Colts Still Have a Hole at Free Safety

Posted by Andy246 on March 23, 2014 at 4:10 AM Comments comments (0)

The Indianapolis Colts lost Antoine Bethea in free agency, and have failed to do anything to fill his hole. Are there options in free agency and/or the draft?

The Colts made some nice moves this offseason, solidifying their front seven by adding D’Qwell Jackson and Arthur Jones. They’ve also made an effort to keep their own players, keeping guys like Vontae Davis, Pat McAfee, Ahmad Bradshaw, and Adam Vinatieri. They’ve added...

Colts Mock Draft 1.0

Posted by Andy246 on March 20, 2014 at 2:40 PM Comments comments (0)

This is the first of many Colts mock drafts. The Colts have 5 picks this year, and are not expected to get any compensatory picks.

2nd Round – 59th Overall Pick

Gabe Jackson – Offensive Guard – Mississippi State

Jackson is one of the best available players at the 59th spot and the Colts still have a need for interior lineman. Jackson has the potential to start immediately, and if not, can prov...

2014 NFL Draft Quarterback Rankings

Posted by Andy246 on March 18, 2014 at 5:50 PM Comments comments (0)

*These rankings are expected to change from now until the start of the NFL draft.*

1. Teddy Bridgewater – Lousiville

Bridgewater disappointed many with a below average pro day, but nevertheless he’s still the best QB in the draft and can be a starter from Day 1. He’s technically sound, and has all the intangibles you look for in a franchise QB.

Projection: Top 10

2. Blake Bortles – UCF

Bortle...
