The Colts, defensive tackle Josh Chapman, running back Vick Ballard, wide receiver Lavon Brazill, defensive end/ outside linebacker Tim Fugger, and quarterback Chandler Harnish have each agreed to their own seperate deals.
The Colts have finally made a splash in the draft pick signings department! They signed 5 of their 10 draft picks. Coincidentally, it's each draft pick (with the exception of Anderson) from Rounds 5 to the end of the 7th.
The Colts have signed Josh Chapman to 4 year $2.315 million deal that includes a $215,512 bonus. Chapman is expected to either start or compete for the starting nose tackle spot.
The Colts have also signed VIck Ballard to a 4 year $2.24 million deal that includes a $144,560 bonus. Vick Ballard is expected to be the 3rd string running back behind Donald Brown and Delone Carter, but posseses the ability to take over the job before the seaosn ends.
The Colts then signed Lavon Brazill to a 4 year $2.178 million deal that includes a $78,680 bonus. Brazill is expected to be a backup at the wide receiver spot, and also being a special teams contributor. He is expected to be the first guy called up if any of the starters get injured.
The Colts have also signed Tim Fugger to a 4 year deal with the contract details not being encolsed. Fugger is expected to be a backup at the outside linebacker spot and could be a potential starter in the future.
The Colts finally signed Mr. Irrelevant Chandler Harnish an undisclosed deal worth an unknown amount of money. Harnish is expected to be a 3rd string quarterback this year and become a backup for several years to come.
For those interested in Andrew Luck, he has NOT signed a deal yet, but is in contract talks. Expect a deal that is similar to the deal that Cam Newton got last year, which is a 4 year deal worth $22 million.
